Hello again D&K Customers, Friends and Family, Things are happening fast here at D&K! Last week the sheet rock was put up, tape and texture was started and the electrician finished a lot of the rough electrical. We've been picking paint colors, tile options etc.. We would love to show you all the progress, but that would spoil the surprise! We are still planning our grand opening with all of the suggestions that you have sent us. We have lots of great ideas. Now we just have to figure out how to make it all happen. Within the next week or two we will be creating a Facebook event for the grand opening, so please stay tuned for upcoming details on our grand opening celebration. Please add these dates to your calendar. Our grand opening is 3/31 and we will re-open on 4/2. Thank you all for continued support. Have a fantasti ... read more

Hello D&K Customers, Friends and Family, Last week was very productive! Electricians are still hard at work and insulation started going up this past week as well. The picture you see doesn't do justice. That is a semi-trailer worth of insulation! We really would like to show you more of what's going on.... but we don't want to spoil the surprise. It's amazing to see how other professionals work and how quickly things are coming together now that we have the approvals. Thank you, Bob, Claude, and Jim for your ideas last week. We encourage everyone to give us some ideas, so please keep them coming. They are all very appreciated. Our grand opening is 3/31 and our official opening day is 4/2. Stay tuned for details! Have a fantastic week, R.J. MilnesGeneral ManagerD&K Auto Repair ... read more

Hello again D&K Customers, Friends and Family, We are full steam ahead!! Last week we had multiple crews working at the shop. Electrical continued, insulation is starting to go in the walls and we had our IT people come in to let us know what we need for equipment. It's great to see the progress, but the opening day could not be any closer. Thank you Matt and George for the recommendations last week! We did put Brisket as a suggested menu item and we also reached out to a couple radio stations as well. Please continue to send us your ideas for our Grand Opening on 3/31/18! Don't forget our opening day is 4/2/18! If you are waiting for us to get back, please book your appointment if we don't already have your info. Have another fantastic week, R.J. Hello D&K Customers, Friends and family, Lots of good things happening at D&K this past week! The electrician is still there working away to get the building all wired up. If you can remember, the building was completely gutted on the inside. So it is definitely fair to say that there's a lot of work to be done. A large portion of it is the electrical! Last week we also had the framers and plumber back to finish up what needs to be done in the walls before the sheet rock can be put back up. We would really like to show you pictures of the progress. But that will take away the big surprise that's in store for you all. We are back to planning our Grand Opening and will be opening on 4/2/18! If any of you have ideas for our Grand Opening please feel free to let us know. Some of you have already given us some great ideas! Have a fantastic week, R.J. MilnesGeneral Manager ... read more

Hello again D&K Customers, Friends and Family, Last week I let you all know that we should have some exciting news for this weeks update. And we do! Approvals have gone through and construction is back underway! Our general contractor just released the updated schedule to us last night. Construction will be completed on Friday 3/16/18!! Painter's were already working over the weekend and the plumber was there as well. We still need a week or two to get all of our equipment back in the shop. So our Grand Opening will be after 3/16 with us reopening the NEW shop the Monday following our Grand Opening. This is all brand new information. So we don't have an actual date yet of our reopening. But we would expect it to be no later than 4/1/18. We all can't wait to get back to helping all of you and we are excited! Stay tuned for next weeks update. Have a fantas ... read more

Hello D&K Customers Friends and Family, Last week was quiet at the shop. With the holiday's here and the other issues throughout the country, this is to be expected. Insurance companies have their hands full with everything going on and it will probably be that way through the end of the year. With that being said we will be sending out our next update after the New Year unless we have something to update before then. All of us here at D&K would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We thank you all for the Christmas cards that have been coming in and the support that you've given us this past year. Look for our next update in January 2018! Hello D&K Customers, Friends and Family, Last week we finished backfilling all of the holes that we created with new concrete. Although this wasn't the largest piece of the project, we certainly felt like it was after all of that work! That being said, we are still moving forward! We are hoping to hear back from the insurance companies this week so we can get this project going full steam. Once we get rolling we still expect six weeks of construction. So expect us to hit the ground running in 2018! Paul is still standing by to help with any of your automotive consultant needs. Please use him as much as needed. Paul, Doug and I have still been meeting on a weekly basis. We continue to work on how to better your overall experience at D&K. Thank you all for supporting our team. Have a great week! R.J. Hello Again D&K Customers, Friends and Family, Last week we were still working as usual. We finished getting all of the concrete pads cut out for the new vehicle lifts. While working last week we had our new lifts delivered! This was our first big purchase during the rebuild process. So needless to say, we were excited! This week concrete will be poured back into all of the holes that we cut throughout the shop. The concrete does take some time to dry. So we will patiently wait to get the new lifts installed. We are still here for you all as your automotive consultants. If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to ask. We hope you all enjoyed Thanksgiving and ate appropriately! Hello D&K Customers, Friends and Family, Last week we started working on cutting concrete and breaking up some of the concrete pads so that we can install our new lifts. The new lifts should arrive sometime today!! We are still waiting for the insurance companies to come to a conclusion. Like what was said in the last update, the insurance companies are overloaded with many other claims caused by this year's natural disasters. This week we hope all of you are enjoying your time with your family's and are enjoying this time of the year. All of us here at D&K hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving! R.J.
