My 2000 car has over 200,000 miles but still runs fine. Last summer I had a check engine light and the code said I needed a new EGV. I had the folks at D&K make the repair. About 6 months later, the light turned on again. The folks at D&K found another part and installed it without a charge. The next day the light was back. This resulted in several months of the folks at D&K trying to eliminate all other conditions my old car had that might be causing the problem. They even took my car to two automotive repair classes to get ideas from the instructors. Finally, they located a Delco part in Kentucky. GM parts for cars from 2000 are hard to find. My car has been running for almost a month with no check engine light. Even after all the work they did to solve the problem, they only charged me for the part and programming. This is a small fraction of what it cost them in time and labor. I appreciate their diligence in keeping at least one old car out of the junk yard.
